What is a ChatGPT product feed?

A ChatGPT product feed is a structured catalog that lets OpenAI index product identifiers, descriptions, price, availability, merchant information, and eligibility flags. A valid feed helps the platform represent current product data accurately.

OpenAI’s stable file-upload schema requires more than the usual title, link, and image fields. Search and checkout eligibility, seller information, return policy, currency formatting, and availability all have explicit rules. This checker focuses on those documented requirements.

What the validator can—and cannot—verify

The tool validates the contents and relationships visible in your flat file. It can catch missing columns, duplicate IDs, invalid enums, malformed URLs, incorrect price syntax, and conditional fields before submission.

A browser-only checker cannot confirm that a URL returns HTTP 200, inspect a remote image’s MIME type, test account eligibility, or guarantee ingestion. Treat a clean result as a strong preflight check, then use OpenAI’s upload workflow as the final authority.

Is this an official OpenAI product feed validator?

No. It is an independent Georion preflight tool based on OpenAI’s public stable file-upload schema. OpenAI’s live ingestion remains the final validation step.

Does Georion upload or store my product feed?

No. Parsing, validation, filtering, and CSV generation happen in your browser. The tool does not send the feed to Georion or a paid AI API.

Which fields are required?

For the documented non-Ads feed, the checker expects eligibility flags, item_id, title, description, URL, brand, image URL, price, availability, seller name and URL, and return policy. Checkout-enabled rows also require seller privacy and terms URLs.

Can I validate a Google Merchant Center feed?

You can use a CSV export as a starting point. The tool maps several common headers, but OpenAI has additional required fields, so expect to add eligibility, seller, and policy data.

Does a score of 100 guarantee approval?

No. It means the file passed the local rules implemented here. Remote availability, image formats, merchant status, policy review, and future schema changes can still affect ingestion.
