The method, in plain English

How to get cited by AI search

Four steps to being named by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot & Grok.

Your buyer asks an assistant which tool to use and takes the answer at face value. If your brand is not in that answer, the funnel never starts. This is the workflow that changes it — measure, diagnose, fix, then track.

The problem

Buyer behaviour flipped.
Most SEO tools did not.

Most searches no longer end in a visit. Your prospect asks an assistant for the best option in your category, gets a confident answer, and decides — often without opening a single page. If your brand is not named in that answer, nothing downstream of it ever happens.

Meanwhile Semrush and Ahrefs still measure what mattered in 2015: keyword rankings, organic sessions, backlinks. All of that still counts. None of it tells you whether Claude is recommending you in an answer nobody will click through from.

The Georion method

Four steps.
One unified workflow.

Every tool in the platform belongs to one of these four phases. Run them in order — diagnosing before you have measured, or building before you have diagnosed, is how budgets get spent on the wrong fix.

  1. 01

    Measure

Where do you stand today, across every AI engine?

    AI Visibility Scanner

    30s scan across 6 engines

    Prompt Tracker

    Weekly monitoring of 2,000+ prompts

    Analytics Dashboard

    Unified AI + organic metrics

    Silent Citations

    Detect brand mentions without links

    AI Attribution

    Dark-traffic revenue attribution

Outcome · You know your baseline AI visibility score, which prompts you win and lose, and which engines ignore you entirely.

  2. 02

    Diagnose

Why is AI skipping you, and what is the exact friction?

    Audit Engine

    242-check SEO + GEO audit

    AI Crawler Logs

    Track GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot visits

    Entity Graph

    Your brand's semantic position, mapped

    Injection Auditor

    Detect prompt-injection on your pages

    War Room

    Competitor intel and battlecards

Outcome · You know exactly why an engine cites a competitor instead: missing schema, low fact density, weak authority, or an entity it cannot resolve.

  3. 03

    Fix and build

Execute the specific changes AI engines reward

    Content Studio

    AI-cited content, not just AI-generated

    llms.txt Studio

    The AI-crawler standard file

    Showcase + Wikidata

    Canonical entity source for LLMs

    AI Chatbot

    Brand-trained chat on your site

    Query Fanouts

    50-prompt clusters for content

Outcome · Your site signals AI-readiness: structured data, llms.txt, a resolvable entity, and content written to be quoted.

  4. 04

    Track and iterate

    Weekly compounding improvements that stack

    A/B Title Tests

Optimise for citation rate, not just CTR

    Oracle Predictor

    60-day AI visibility forecast

    Brain Strategist

    Deep-research strategist agent

    Outreach + Reddit

    Build the authority signals

Outcome · Visibility compounds. Each week the gap against competitors widens, and the strategist proposes the next move.

Why six engines, not one

The leader lost a third of
its share in seventeen months.

Panel-based estimates from a single vendor, not audited totals — directional rather than exact. The direction is the point: a strategy aimed at one assistant is a strategy aimed at a moving target.

Honest comparison

Where we win, and where
we do not.

Three rows below go to a competitor. Keyword research and backlink index size are the two places Semrush and Ahrefs have a decade of head start on us, and pretending otherwise would not survive your first week of use.

01

Is Georion really a Semrush alternative in 2026?

Yes, for most teams. Georion covers the jobs Semrush does — keyword research, site audit, backlinks, rank tracking, content — and adds AI-native tools Semrush does not have: Sensor+ answer volatility, Market Explorer+ with AI share of voice, Advertising Spy across AI engines, an embeddable chatbot, an MCP server, Silent Citations, Query Fanouts, the Injection Auditor and llms.txt Studio. Semrush plus its AI Visibility Toolkit runs about $238/mo for three engines; Georion Pro is $179/mo for the full catalogue and six engines. Where Semrush and Ahrefs still win is raw index size: their backlink databases are larger than ours.

02

What is Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and how is it different from SEO?

GEO is the practice of optimising content so AI engines such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Grok cite your brand in their answers. SEO targets a click from a results page; GEO targets inclusion in a synthesised answer the user frequently never clicks through from. The two share foundations — E-E-A-T, structured data, crawlability — but GEO rewards a distinct set of signals: a definition-first opening in the first 40 to 60 words, high fact density, list-shaped structure, FAQ schema, and content refreshed recently enough that the engine trusts it.

03

How do I rank higher on ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity?

Three priorities. First, depth: word count and sentence count correlate more strongly with citation than any other on-page factor, so aim for substantial articles rather than thin ones. Second, fact density: two to three verifiable statistics per 300 words, each attributable. Third, a definition-first opening, because engines routinely extract the first 40 to 60 words verbatim as the snippet. Then the mechanics: allow GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and OAI-SearchBot in robots.txt, deploy FAQ and Article schema, keep dateModified current, and register with Bing Webmaster Tools since ChatGPT Search leans on Bing's index. Georion's audit checks all of it.

04

Which AI engines does Georion track?

Six: ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot and Grok (xAI). It also monitors Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and DeepSeek. Sensor+ runs six-engine sweeps daily on each tracked prompt and alerts you when your brand is added, removed, or when an engine flips its top recommendation.

05

How long until I see AI visibility results?

Faster than traditional SEO, but not instantly, and it depends on where you start. Technical fixes — llms.txt, schema, crawler access — can change what engines see within days of a recrawl. Content-driven gains typically compound over a couple of months, and authority-driven gains over a longer horizon than that. The honest answer is that anyone quoting you a fixed number of weeks is guessing; what Georion gives you is the weekly measurement to see the curve for your own domain rather than an industry average.

06

Does Georion include an AI chatbot for my website?

Yes. Every paid plan includes the embeddable AI chatbot, a drop-in assistant that answers visitor questions using your own content as context. Message allowances scale with the plan: 500 a month on Starter, 1,500 on Pro, 3,000 on Growth, 5,000 on Agency. It captures leads and tracks AI-referred sessions, and it installs with a single script tag.

07

Do I need technical skills to use Georion?

No. The tools are built for marketers and founders rather than developers. The audit returns one-line fixes, the content generator publishes straight to WordPress, Shopify or Ghost, and llms.txt Studio deploys through the WordPress plugin. For teams that do want to build on it, there is a REST API with webhooks and an MCP server for Claude Desktop and Cursor.

08

What happens to my data, and is Georion GDPR compliant?

Your data sits in a Postgres instance with row-level security enforcing organisation-scoped access. We do not train models on your content and we do not sell your tracking data. Enterprise plans add SSO and SAML. Privacy controls live in Settings, and a DPA is available on request for Growth plans and above.

Step one takes
thirty seconds.

Run the scan on your own domain and see which of the six engines name you today. The rest of the method only matters once you know where you are starting from.
