Common questions

Is Georion really bootstrapped?+

Yes — we've taken zero VC funding. We've been profitable since month 6 and reinvest 80% of revenue into product, infrastructure, and team. This means no growth-at-all-costs pressure, no layoff cycles from overhiring, and no forced pivots for exit optics.

Can I work from outside the EU?+

Yes for most roles. We employ through Deel for 150+ countries. Some engineering roles prefer EU overlap (4+ hours with CET) for synchronous pairing. All roles are remote-first regardless of geography.

What's the interview process like?+

4 stages, max 2 weeks total. Stage 1: 30-min intro call with founder. Stage 2: paid 4-hour take-home project (we pay €500 for your time). Stage 3: technical deep-dive with team (60 min). Stage 4: values + reference check. Offer within 5 business days of stage 4.

Do I need SEO or AI visibility experience?+

For engineering roles, no. We'll teach you. For growth and DevRel roles, yes — you need to ship publicly and understand the search/AI landscape.

Does Georion sponsor visas?+

Not currently. We hire via Deel for 150+ countries, which removes the need for traditional visa sponsorship in most cases. If you're already in EU/Switzerland on a work visa, even better.

How senior are your engineers?+

Average 8 years experience. Our most junior engineer has 4 years post-undergrad; our most senior has 15+. We don't hire junior roles currently — we're small enough that every engineer must ship features end-to-end from day one.
